Marvels of the New West by William M. Thayer

Other colors, as red, green, and white, mingle here and there, contributing beauty to the imposing scene. Like huge walls of granite, laid block upon block in symmetrical proportions until they tower higher than the tallest church spire in the land, these castellated rocks challenge the surprise and wonder of men.
